For the Fiscal Year 2024 budget process, we’ve launched the Balancing Act tool to help breakdown the County’s $2.2B budget and simulate the decision points in developing a balanced budget that meets the needs of Harris County. Providing the public with opportunities to express their priorities for the County Budget is key to achieving transparent and accountable government and serving the residents of Harris County.
