Risk Management administers countywide safety programs and provides County departments with an internal resource for safety and health consulting and training. Responsibilities include developing safety and health procedures, performing safety audits of operations and facilities, investigating accidents, and managing safety programs. Risk Management also supports the Harris County Safety Committee, composed of members from various county departments, in researching and developing safety and health solutions within Harris County.
