Harris County and Harris County Flood Control District provide workers’ compensation benefits to employees for injuries sustained in the course and scope of employment in accordance with state statutes and regulations. The workers’ compensation program is self-insured, and Risk Management oversees a third-party administrator that evaluates and pays claims.
